Quail Products
Raising quail is easy to learn, and before you know it, you will be enjoying their boiled eggs every week.
Stargazer Farm offers fertilised eggs as well as newly hatched quail chicks and older quails.
Pick up is at the farm or, if you’re from Sydney, can be picked up locally from Greenacre (NSW, 2190).
Fertilised Eggs
We collect and store fertilised eggs regularly.
If you have a nice incubator, you can hatch out baby quail in about 18 days if conditions are right.
Quail Chicks
Quail less than 3 weeks old will still require heat and a brooder box.
At that age, you can already determine the likely base plumage colours and variations.
Mature Quails
Mature quails are quails over 8 weeks old and ready to lay eggs or breed.
These are perfect for when you want a covey of quail ready to go. This is also the best age for purchasing quail for meat.
Quail Equipment
Through years of hatching and raising our own quail, we have developed the best feeders and water feeders for each stage in a quails life. These are all manufactured locally in Australia.

Quail Chick Water Feeders
Quail chicks are cuter than they are smart. They have a tendency to drown or soak themselves through when open water containers are used.
We supply simple PET bottle attachments that are specifically made for quail chicks.
Quail No Mess Feeder Ports
Quails are notorius for being messy eaters, wasting a lot of food by throwing it around.
Feeder Ports in chick and adult quail sizing. These are DIY attached to a large container (e.g. 3l milk container) to make a large No Mess Feeder.
Adult Water Feeder
This is a small water feeder attachment that can fit on the end of a PET bottle of any size.
