Our Guineafowl
Stargazer Farm raises guineafowl in small quantities including the rarer white variety that roam free range on our farm.
Guineafowl
We sell our hand-raised Guineafowl once they reach adolescence and are independant. Guineafowl are flock birds and should be kept in a group ideally no less than three.
Fertilised Eggs
Guineafowl take 28 days to hatch and then require a heat source.
Once they are 6 to 7 weeks, the keets should be fully feathered and you will be able to turn off the heat lamp.
Mature Guineafowl
After 8 weeks of age, Guineafowl can be allowed outside to acclimate to their permanent housing.
Guineafowl can start laying eggs as early as 24 weeks old but it is more likely to be between 30 and 34 weeks of age.
